Sporting Lisbon - counterfeit shirts since the 1970s, Made in Portugal
These are counterfeit shirts, made without permission or licensing from the Club. Some are fairly well made, but all have visible differences towards the official shirts. In general, quality is low, with bad stitching and finishings. The official jerseys of the current season as well as from the previous season can be found in the official Club shop "Loja Verde" as well as in authorised sellers.
There are many fake counterfeit shirts being sold all over the world. Anyone interested in the real deal can contact the official Club store and ask what you want, they will arrange something sensible (this link is not sponsored: verdebranco.net does not have and never will have any payed ads).
Portuguese fakes - unsophisticated and cute
At a time when the price of official kits was out of reach for some people in Portugal, numerous makers supplied the market with counterfeit jeyseys for the Sporting Lisbon supporter. Some were simply hilarious, such as Galo Sport imitating Le Coq Sportif. In general, these shirts were unsophisticated and made no effort to faithfully ressemble the original kits, contrarily to the mass contrafaction that appeared later.
