Sporting Lisbon patched-up shirts
Patched-up jerseys are the nightmare of match worn jerseys collectors. These were originally regular shirts, bought in the shop, although sometimes they are counterfeit jerseys. Then, someone put the competition patches and the player nameset on the shirt, normally iron on transfers. Sometimes the final result is practicaly indistinguishable from the true match worn jerseys, but very often the forgers don't know what they are doing, and it is easy to spot the fakes. The current season Sporting shirts can be found in the official CLub shop and other authorised sellers.
We also have a page that shows counterfeit shirts, that is is, simply fake shirts that do not try to look like match worn shirts.
