The Sporting Lisbon jerseys in 2012 2013 - one classic, one surprising
The new Sporting Lisbon shirt for 2012/13 is available at the official Club shop. It was officially presented 1 July 2012, after Verdebranco had a sample since April 2012!
With the contract ending in 2011/12, only in January 2012 was it announced that Puma would continue to be the maker of the Sporting Lisbon football equipment. Again, the home shirt is a classic, with green white hoops. The collar is all black, with a white strip coming down over the first green hoop. Europe League player issue shirts were available at the Club's official shop.
Player issue shirts were available, of both Europe League and national competitions models.
The away shirt is in shocking orange, a colour that is not part of the traditional Sporting Lisbon colours! This is however, nothing new, because since 1998 Sporting has used many such colours in the away shirts.
No new Stromp shirt was presented. It was worn in very few matches in the previous seasons, and if it will be used by the players at all, the model from the two previous years will be kept.
